People don't want to watch normal things; it wouldn't sell and make Naruto as big as it is currently. What Naruto has and how he is trained, and whatnot, that is what makes him special, though. Simply because he is the Hokage's son etc., it gives good story development. It's not it was thrown at your face immediately in season 1, it was gradually build up.

That's the problem. Why the hero always have to be descended from some legendary high power person instead of be a regular person that does well? This is why I like Batman.

Yes even when they power up Luffy he still not overpowered and too strong. He also lose when put against stronger opponent.

;)It all started with the story of the Black Knight.(in Scotland /England.) the thing is, a girl always want a hero to rescue her in distress right? well that just evolve in to the idea where you have to have a hero. i know confusing but it's an idea. Maybe what i said was bs and it started earlier but, still it's what form the plot of a story.

That what makes it good, would we watch Naruto if he was just a average joe? I wouldn't

I agree with you and also he got training from Jiraiya because he worked hard, if he was Minato's son but still sucked at being a ninja I doubt Jiraiya would have trained him. Killer-B trained him because he has been able to go into final stage of BM and is friends with the 8 tails and so he was the only one able to train Naruto. Naruto worked very hard and just because he was Minato's son doesn't take away from how hard he worked to get where he is.

He had to get taught. That's the only way you can become an elite ninja.

It's like in real life saying you want to master a martial art all by yourself without a sensei/teacher..it's not gonna happen.

No, even Bruce Lee had a teacher. His father introduced him in to it/trained him to a point, then he went on to study in Wing Chun at a very young age. I forget his master's name, but I'm sure it's on the internet if you want to look for it. Bruce Lee didn't just start by himself and do everything himself.

Just looked it up and his master's name was Yip Man.

Yes, but he based a lot of what he did on what his teacher taught him. Very similar to the Jiraiya/Naruto situation. Naruto has took everything Jiraiya taught him and taken it to another level..but just like Bruce Lee owes a lot to his master, Nartuo owes a lot to Jiraiya.

Bruce Lee did not have a spirit inside him that grant him power though.... Naruto without the fox just Sage Mode the fox is cheating.

What did Naruto take to another level?

The only thing Naruto took to another level is shadow clones. Kakashi told him to make Rasenshuriken. Though throwing Rasenshuriken was all Naruto's doing.

Naruto SM is the same as Jiraiya except no frog transformation. Naruto's rasengans the same.

This why I like Naruto using sage mode he uses his head himself. Make Rasenshuriken throwable. Uses his sensing ability and make enemy absorbing chakra turn into stone. This what I like to see.

Not Jiraiya - rasengan, monkey see monkey do. sage mode, monkey see monkey do. control bijuu, monkey see monkey do. Now Naruto need to make new stuff on his own.

That's not why Killer Bee trained him.
