In the past, I was never the good student. I rarely did my homework and preferred "slacking off" rather than do the work. I never quite understood why anyone in the right mind would want to teach a bunch of kids who don't even respect the fact that they get a free education. Then upon finishing highschool and heading off into college, I met several teachers and those aspiring to be. It's where I got to learn for the first time on why education is so important and why it's an integral part of any culture/society.

Teachers aren't just some idiots with a degree or at least the real ones. A real teacher is one who inspires you to be better than you were and is always there to console you when things aren't so well. They are there in the background cheering you on and always wishing the best for you. I have recently seen and heard about the need for more sensei but what is a sensei? It isn't just someone who teaches you but opens your mind to a lot of possibilities which are near infinite. It's someone who doesn't just hand you the work but makes you understand why it's important. They foster you not just by completing your training but by being an example of what it means to be a true rper. Sensei's are like the art teachers of our community. They give you the brushes and canvas, hoping for you to one day pain a masterpiece telling your story, your struggle, and your triumphs.

The RP is not just a place to go to, it is our home. It enriches us to be better writers and better people while at the same time, seeing people for who they are rather than what they look like. It's something extraordinary when you can connect with people even though in real life you may be forbidden to associate with. This world is a scary place, people dying wherever you go, and much suffering. This place is our little escape from reality where we can decide, albeit a short while, who we want to be and what we want to do. It's one of those things you should really preserve because it's fleeting, slipping from our hands as the world around us gets worse and worse.

The point I am trying to make is that when I do become a sensei, I really do want to offer more than just a quick lesson, but rather I want to TEACH and INSPIRE. I want to try to go where other senseis may have not gone before or haven't in a while. I want to go beyond what a sensei is and set the bar of what it means to really be a sensei. I know I don't have any experience or that much knowledge but I am a quick learner and am willing to do what it takes. I hope someone would be kind enough to give me a boost and take me under their wing to become a sensei. I want to make a revolution. I want to make a change and hopefully I am not the only one.

I want to be a sensei because I want to teach others. I want to enrich the RP as a whole and not just for my own benefit. I know this won't automatically make me a sensei lol but this is my declaration of my dream and what I want to accomplish.

I myself would love to become a sensei. But i'm pretty sure you have to master all 5 basic natures + genjutsu + taijutsu + ninjutsu. A lot of people only want to be sensei for the chance to get MS. I would be a devoted sensei if I ever could become one. But I don't think I have the patience to learn all the elements considering how long it's taken to get as far as I have in ninjutsu alone (which isn't very far at all)

We just need to be like Naruto and never give up despite the odds that are stacked against us. ^^

XD I wonder what went through your mind when you read his comment.

I know but gotta stay strong. Luckily I know my limits and what I am able to do. As long as I stay true to myself there is nothing I can't do. ^^

If I wanted being a sensei I would only do so just to get MS. Personally I like to think that most people think like this. I mean why else use most of your time teach the noobs new jutsus just for the thrill of it? I can see it in your eyes, all of you want that MS...

I wanted to be a sensei because I enjoy teaching, I don't care for gaining the sensei only perks such as MS, if that is your only goal in mind and don't enjoy teaching - personally I think you shouldn't bother.

I honestly wanted to go for Madara with EMS and needed Sensei for it. Thus, I took the test. Kinda like teaching for a while, just not base 5. It was fun for the most part. Had some cool students over the years, bad hours and there's no real worker's union.

That's just you my friend, majority says otherwise.

In response to the O.P saying he would like to inspire and teach students rather than a quick lesson. That sadly is not what the students on the base want. We want an effective and a quick way of learning the basics. A new reformed way of learning which would consume less of our time and pretty much easy to gasp even to the simple minded RP'er. I kinda feel like most people spend a lot of time completing the basics rather than engage in actual role play on the NW. Something should be done, so I believe OP if you wanna be a sensei its best if your mind would be able put two and two together and unriddle this problem we have.
