Manga may not be that engaging for many because of various reasons, but some make a career of fretting over every little thing because they wanted it to be written in some other way while Kishi had his own ideas.
Over analyzing everything, looking for theories and expecting certain twist where none were needed, hanging on to every little word which may or may not be of importance ( since we do not even read the original manga but translations) arguing over it 24/7 is what makes one tire of a piece which was suppose to entertain us.
I don't criticize what Kishi does plot-wise. It's his story and I love the way he presents it and where he want to go from here. I concentrate on moments and what a panel has to offer. I do read complaints but the alternative ideas people come with are often the worse cliche. Let me clear one thing- I am not saying Naruto is the best piece of literature out there ever written. Kishi can be criticized on various literary points but from what I see, people mostly complain because Kishi didn't write it the way they wanted him to write.
Some wanted more panel time and awesome action from their favourite characters; some were disappointed because their theories didn't come true; some wanted more romance and some more angst and tragedies. Some people even compare it to a small war arc( which they think was big because of total number of characters involved) in another manga while totally missing that that war fit more with Gara rescue arc than a shinobi world war.( war with a specific simple goal and preparation for the next part of the story and character development not as a climax of the story.) Different kind of stories shouldn't be compared especially on chapter to chapter basis. But , if we read it in a novelized form instead of serialized one and review it as a whole in the end, chances are high that we will find it an interesting and well written manga over all.
Kishi started to work on it somewhere in 1996. It's been a long time since then and he put a lot of efforts in it. The theme itself had to reach it's climax when the mysteries are solved/explained and not any major twists are likely to happen especially if they follow all the shonen rules, i.e. they cannot really let Madara win. If any twist is there it will probably be a minor one like Naruto may not be a hokage. We may hope that Sakura beats up Sasuke for a change but even that will not a be a major twist.
I don't know if Kishi has some self imposed or editor imposed time constraints and has to finish this manga but people need to calm down.

There's what Kishi wants, and there's what I want. What I want doesn't trump or affect what Kishi wants. The man has earned some rest. For those of us who've been following Naruto for so many years need to accept some things. That said, I'm not clairvoyant. The best thing Kishi can do is finish this arc with passion, care, and attention to detail. Go out with a bang. He's got all the character present to do so. Unfortunately, even the most reasonable of fans may ask too much. I just hope Kishi goes out with as much passion and care as he came in with.
Even if if it's not that big a bang, it was fun journey reading this manga and I would look forward to another piece by this writer if he started it.
