Why I think sasukes sword is called kusanagi

We know Sasukes sword is called kusangi even tho it never showed the ability to stretch like oros. I was thinking since Orochimaru sword has the property to stretch he could cut off the piece of the blade and fashion infinite new swords from them.

And Sasuke getting a piece of the kusangi sword and like a branch that's cut off a tree cant grow so cant the blade after its removed from the main body but retains its durability.

You're comparing the Long Sword Of The Sky to a tree like structure? I'd say it's plausible considering Hashirama's Jūubi (Tree element) cells were gratified on Orochimaru's physique, the OG Castor of The Magical Sabre.
