Why I think Jiraiya was resurrected already

Why would Jiraiya even need to summon him?

Perhaps help him get to the battle ground with a few jumps

It's a hint that he is resurrected.

He has no reason to summon Gamabunta, he isn't fighting anyone and he is dead. Gamabunta was just busy and that's all there is to it.

No, Gamakichi is Naruto's toad because they are the new generation, that's all there is to it. Jiraiya coming back at this point would be disrespectful, unimpressive (what difference is he going to make, really) and just lame.

Sakura summoned katsuya so you're wrong. Sasuke sacrificed manda in the battle with deidara. I don't know if I believe jiraiya is back but why would they send this toad and even hint that he has something else more important to do. Foreshadowing for a future reunion.

I have never said Sakura did not summon katsuya

From all the things that have happened so far in the manga, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Jiraiya came back. To be honest, I thought the same thing when I was reading the manga pages, Gamakichi said he was busy right? What could possibly be more important than fighting the 10 tails? unless ....JIRAIYA!

Were not going to know until next week's manga so i'm left in suspense at this little hint. Unless of course it switches to Obito and Kakashi in which case i'll have to wait even longer.

It's totally plausible man, plenty of shinobi have been brought back after having honorable deaths, like Hiruzen, Minato, ...I just want to read next week's manga but I gotta wait

Minato could handle Gamabunta.. Minato regained his spot as Gamabunta's summoner over Naruto maybe..

Or.... Jiraiya is back & Kabuto Edo'd him off screen.

OR summons can sometimes REFUSE to be summoned... (like Goku refused to be wished away from Namek with the others while he was battling Frieza)

OR jiraiya survived & is still alive.... maybe he did summon the TOAD INTESTINE (or whatever)
while underwater or something..... and it takes long time to swim back to the top...or float.

but he is probably dead & died back then against Pein.

Or kishi just wanted to show Naruto & Sasuke with their own summons
Gamabunta & Aoda and Sakura is still behind them by summoning the only Slug we've seen..
