Why I think Itachi would be a great asset to Narutos Gang.

You do realize that Itachi wants the shinobi world to think of him as some ruthless criminal so that people don't look down on the Uchiha clan. Also anyone powerful would make a great asset, not just Itachi

I actually know that itachi would cast that little thought of his aside and would prefer that the world still be reality and the dark history be revealed, rather have his own brother stay in a forever genjutsu created....remember that he cares for his brother more than anything....
