He has surprising depth and self awareness for a shonen mc in contrast to Luffy, Goku, Gon, etc who are just straight up retarded. And unlike Ichigo he's not boring and typical as **** he actually makes good speeches and can be truly inspirational instead of just being strong and gung ho. In part 1 imo he was the perfect Shonen mc, part 2 his personality became more larger than life, but how he grew from social outcast to hero of the people was more interesting than just being a forever goofy and retarded man child.

Naruto as a character used to be a fun character. Till he started becoming the whole savior of the prophecy thing. He went from an entertaining character to a boring one. The other shonen heros never became that. Hell Ichigo is a very cool character that you can relate to. His personality has many dimensions to it.

I never changed my mind. Sasuke wasn't supposed to be in the series until editors butted in, and he isn't the most complex of characters. He's good nonetheless though just like Naruto.
They're one in the same people. Which is why I sometimes dislike Sasuke's actions.
