Why I don't like Dragonball Z Kai

Despite being a huge fan of the original series, I'm just not feeling Dragonball Z Kai. It's missing the epic music of the original series, the epic narrator, it skips out on a lot of dialogue and they skip some plot as well. Also, the voices aren't up to my standards. If it didn't have the same exact action, I'd be really disappointed

Maybe I'm just being picky, what's your guys opinion on the Dragonball Z remake, Dragonball Z kai?

I never watched it, but I love the HD screencaps and gifs from it. It looks fluid and not like a bunch of lines attempting to punch a character

I am, it's actually the only reason why I watch it. I just felt like they could have done better

They also left out all the bloody scenery which made the original DBZ epic, its really disappointing.

Yeah I'll give them credit for that, they look like they took more time out for the animation of the fight scenes than the original series. Though I didn't have a problem with the other one in the first place

Voices are fine, music is fine, it pulls out the load of fillers, and it's high quality and remastered?

Yeah, DBZ Kai is horrible!

no it isnt. the original kai had a wonderful score by yamamoto and you can still find youtube clips edited with his music. only the music scandal fuked it up

kai's narrator makes it feel like an epic adventure. the old narrator was some loser at a monster truck rally yelling at us

it edited out the filler ot be closer to the manga. if you want all the extra material, kai isnt a replacement. you can watch the old crap any time. filler was unimportant so what plot are you talking about?

oh and the old dub was? which everyone at funimation hated and couldnt wait to redo their performances since they are way more experienced and passionate now?

no they didnt lol. kai is identical to z picture wise with the exception of no filler

they are some of the best out of any english dub. wow theres really no pleasing people. nostalgia rules over quality and good performance doesnt it?
