I believe theres a good chance that madara actually wont return until after kaguya is sealed.

The only reason they have to bring madara back is to have him tell them the current situation and get answers. Only hashirama was with this plan because of his close relationship with madara.

Madara cannot be trusted and an uncontrolled edo tensi is too dangerous at this current time for he no longer at this point needs a living body because the I.T is already done. Hashi will realize that the risk is too great, the world is at stake and theres no room for error.

The sage came to give them the answers they were going to be looking for from madara therefore denying any reason to bring him back at this point.

Yes he would be a great asset on the good side but the risk they are taking of whether not he will join them or not attack them once kaguyas sealed and retake his living body are too great and they cant afford the risk.

Thats why i think its not 100% manga facts that madara is returning right now. Ahem madara fanboys ahem.

Theres still a very good and probable other option for how kishi could take this and i honestly see that happening before madaras return already

ya it's gonna be impossible for him to be controlled by edo tensei since pre-rikudo madara was able to do it.

people might say that he'll break out of it and kill hashi/tobi but hagoromo is there i doubt he'll let it happen, plus the chakra that gave madara rikudo mode is now hagoromo's floating mass, so madara probably isnt as strong anymore.

The thing is, madara claimed to activate infinite Tsukuyomi to bring peace but he didn't know that infinite Tsukuyomi was just black zetsus plan to revive kaguya. Therefore madara has no reason to be on the bad side anymore unless he truly is evil. Black zetsu stated that he was the one to influence Indra into the dark path and madara became indras reincarnation. Madara was clearly influenced by black zetsu and Indra to become what he did. He read the tablet which was tampered with by black zetsu so madara was following the will of kaguya without even realizing. So if he does return he has no reason to be evil. He might reconcile with Hashirama and become good once again.

Thats true but the risk is too great. It was like when obito told sasuke itachis truth, he took a gamble and it paid off. This is the same gamble on a much bigger scale. I dont know if you can trust him and trust that he'll join you in a situation like this

I feel it bruh but you gotta admit with the world on the line thats quite a big risk to take and i dont see why the sage would come when they were going to revive him and get the answers from him. It would seem pointless for him to show up unless he was trying to stop them from reviving him
