cause hes a true warrior. he doesnt need to rely on other people to carry his burden.
meanwhile naruto is aiming at the moon because he knows thats as far as he can get by himself.
sasuke is aiming at the sun because he knows he can do better not only that but he can also accomplish what he wants because he has faith.
he will defeat naruto because hes like a super saiyan goku that would rather die fighting than win with one of those disgraceful senzu beans
what could a senzu bean mean?
it means something that gives you additional strength when you already dont have any sorta like naruto implies on that you cant carry all this burden alone or without help of others sorta like what naruto is implying means that you need additional help/support similar to how senzu beans work. and i disagree with that. because what naruto is suggesting is an easy way out to all your problems. ofcourse you cant do a geometry problem without a calculator and a ruler? think again you can do that! it just takes more skill and courage.
if sasuke was fighting a villian he has to do this on his own, if other people try to help him, that will be an unfair fight. and then and your opponent wont honor your win, you might think your the greatest but the opponent wont aknowledge his defeat because it was unfair.
my answer is that its not about how you see yourself its about how the conflict sees you.
its not about how you see yourself in the mirror, its about how the mirror sees you that only then allows you to trully see your own character.
