The ending was ok for me. It was pretty much what I expected, with a timeskip, the next generation etc. Some of the pairings seem a bit random (Choji+Karui, Sai+Ino), but it's no big issue, really. After all, it's a shonen manga, so people who expexted some terrifying ending with a huge possibly sad/bad twist had the wrong expectations to begin with.

It reminded me of Harry Potter's last scenes; a bit cheesy and cliche, but I don't really mind.

The series for me died after Kisame suicided. Everything after that was mediocre with a few well worked instances. As for the ending, it was vomit. The children are carbon copies of their parent save for the worst combination imaginable; Karui and ****ing Chouji. The old gokage should have gotten slumped in the war and somebody do something about Gaara's Hitler-esque hairdo. Oh, and Bolt? Lol.

I wish Kishi did better with the design for Ino/Sai's kid and Choji/Karui kid(tf?!! Kishi paired them up, I don't think we even saw interaction with the two before this chapter). I don't like Gaara's design either. I agree I'm mad that Kabuto and Orochimaru were nowhere to be found. Honestly for a last chapter this was TOO short.

I hate the ending. I can't even absorb the fact that this is part of the same manga I have been reading. Like the atmosphere is just so drastically different. And I'm pissed off about several points.
1. Where the fuq is Orochimaru, Kabuto, and Taka? What happened to them?!!
2. How the children were depicted and designed.
3. The damn pairings. It makes sense that people change over the yrs. But there had been no romantic development in the manga so pairings just seem random.
4. What in the sweet world is Sasuke doing? Where is he going? Did he get his left arm back? To me he and sakura look like a couple on the brink of divorce.
5. The ending is too happy and fairytale like. Ruins the essence of the entire manga.
6. How about some tribute paid for those who died? Neji, Jiraiya, a scene of Kakashi visiting Obito grave, a scene of Sasuke visiting Itachi's grave.

Overall the ending was too rushed and incomplete. I'm disappointed of how poor this ending is for a manga that had been so popular and epic.
