Tsukuyomi solos anybody that is not the Uchiha blood as well as the Uchihas ancestors. Because of those conditions stated almost all of NV fall prey into that technique. Fail.

Yata can tank tank virtually anything. Only a kunai and an 8 headed serpent were thrown at it but if anything else were to come at the Yata it would block it. Totsuka pierces anybody and seals them.

Unlike Hiruzen, Itachi's feats are supported in the manga. Only his blind haters cannot realize this simple fact.
