Why hasn't Naruto acknowledged Hinata's love for him yet?

You can apply this statement to almost anything that happens in the manga. But i get your point, love is a secondary theme in this show.

@OP: For me, the complexities in the story including the love triangles actually help improve the plot. A hero who kills the bad guys and gets the girl would be too mainstream. I love how kishi complicates things by making the girl Naruto seems to like(according to Sai, after Hinata's confession btw)Sakura like Sasuke and Sasuke likes.....well lets not go there lol.

I think Kishi needs to become a better writer because at this point the story should "write" itself if you get what I'm saying.

He obviously doesn't like her. If he does he should've been more pervy to her just like his attention to Sakura (dates to Ichiraku, etc.). I don't see them even getting married of having a baby, it's just weird for me to see an Uzumaki kid with a yellow hair with a Byakugan.
