Why has the Konoha 11 been spared?

Anyone notice that none of the Konoha 11 has been killed? Kakashi, Gaara, Chouza, and Kankuro have all died once or had a very close call with death. None of the Konoha 11 have even died in the Pain Invasion arc, why not? Kishi could've just had them revived by Nagato's technique. This is excluding Team Guy obviously, since they were away at the time.

Well I don't mean kill them for good. But kill them, then bring em back somehow. And yeah, I wouldn't mind if Shino, Kiba, Ino, and Tenten were killed off for good

Did you read the OP? I'm don't mean just being killed for good, but temporarily as well, like just died by Pain's Shinra Tensei, then revived when Nagato used his technique

But he wasn't one of Naruto's team mates that we've seen grow and develop as characters. Apart from a little growth Kakashi is pretty much the same.

Plot No Jutsu, if Naruto's friends started dying on him he would have flipped out and lost control of the Kyubi by now. However instead he's shown to have a 'stronger' will which is why he's supposedly mastered it instead.

Aside from losing his parents, everything just comes up Naruto -_-

Nothing truly bad happens to him or anyone he knows (ignoring Sasuke here)
He never loses a fight, sheer will to win apparently trumps years of experiance
He always masters a jutsu in a short amount of time despite being an idiot

The Konoha 11 are a very strong generation. All of them made it to the final semi finals of the chuunin exam as well.

Hinata almost died. Plus The slug pretty much protected everybody.
