[Discussion] Why has Obito never killed Kakashi?

1-He wants Kakashi to suffer in life and not release him from his misery, by killing him.
2-He didnt kill him, because he still considers him his friend.
3-Leaving kakashi alive was benificial to him.
For example because of Kakashi training Sasuke or seeing through kakashi his eye (if the latter is possible).
4-Different reason (write it down please).

He still loves his friend. Remember, Obito once said people who don't care about their comrades are worse than scum. He faced disgrace by the village and disobeyed orders to go back and try to save a comrade in Kakashi Gaiden. Obito is probably the best person at heart in the entire show.

Exactly.
What would it accomplish anyway?
Obito is sick of the world as it is, without Rin, killing Kakashi would'nt bring her back.
However, instead of just taking drugs and alcohol like every other person, he wants to turn the world in one giant illusion.
Wich would be fine for him, since he won't feel the pain of loss and failure anymore.

Somehow I can actually symphatize with him.
Though I'd still go for the alcohol and drugs.
