If you think he's the best, then you're pretty much saying Luffy and Naruto are two of the best as well.

There is no character in DB or DBZ that is all that great tbh.

yeah saving universe doesnt ring a bell to you.
trust me i know how you feel, i read other mangas besides dragon ball z than had characters sacrifice their lifes and honestly i had my tears crying out. but still that doesnt put me into position to assume that they were better than goku. goku in general if he existed situations, i think things like those could have been prevented. like maybe if goku was in naruto world, during war arc, maybe there would have not been so many deaths and neji would have not died. thats what im trying to say.

yeah and how many innocent people did superman killed during while he trying to show his power. atleast goku tries to fight in secluded areas where there are no life, and he is ready to die holding back to destroy the earth.
also during the battle of gods movie, there was not even a single building destroyed during that scene. also super saiyan god is the opposite of evil and destruction, thats why hes overal a better character than superman
