why gays do want to be married

The dont have to be married to prove anything. Marriage by def is union between man and women only so technically speaking there marraige would not make sense. nothijng is stopping them from moving in together and being a family how come gays want to be married when that is just a bunch of papers it dosent really prove anything. It would also raise no legall controvery. what do you guys have to say on this subject.

Marriage also includes visitation rights for hospitals and stuff, so i think it's naturall that people want it. Aswell as the ''next stage'' thing.

Why would you want to get married? Being gay doesn't make you a non-person, nor does it change who you are as a person. Marriage is more than just a piece of paper. It lets you be in the room with a dying loved one, it grants you tax breaks, it lets you validate a relationship in a physical, tangible way. Every reason you might want to get married is a reason they might want to get married.

Because marriage has become a symbol of love. It's true that nobody really needs to get married in order to prove their love, but it's become that. So, that's why people in general, gay or what have you, want to get married.
