[Discussion] why exactly did BZ bring back kaguya?

She doesnt really want to fulfill her plan. When sasuke returned this chapter she could've thrown him into a random dimension again. I doubt obito & sakura had enough chakra to go look for him and bring him back .

Madara was losing, had BZ not summoned Kaguya to take over, BZ would also have been sealed as soon as Madara lost.

This is my guess, black zetsu needed someone stronger to coattail after IT.

Madara made a strong tempo-play in order to launch infinite Tsukuyomi, but he was getting hammered by those two before his dimension jump. After Sasuke was able to counter the moonlight for its duration, Madara would have lost.

Madara just completed his objective very efficiently, but would have lost the long game if the fight had gone on in my opinion.

I believe this is what Black Zetsu believed as well given his statement at the bottom right, immediately before killing Madara to summon Kaguya. He didn't believe Madara could do it.

True, but Madara is also arrogant, so that is why he was smiling. Three rinnegan would have been a better match for Naruto/Sasuke, but who knows as we'll probably never know how powerful that form actually was.
