imo it's pretty impossible to hate a character like her, if you do, seriously you have huge issues because it's like hating puppies/kitties/babies/cute fluffy stuff/cuddles etc

that's why her popularity exploded even if Kishi wasted a lot of time in Sakura's apparence so fanboyz will love her more, the gentle simple cute girl will always win especially if she take care of a boy like Naruto.

Hinata was powerful in the past, she is more powerful now and she will be even more powerful if part 3 is not entirely centered on the children and Naruto/Sasuke again.

it has everything to do with her personality and simplicity, characters like her are the most powerful in general because nobody believe in them except someone special.
she's a female Naruto and yes you should have understood that a long time ago, it's about quality not quantity, that's also why someone like Itachi is far better than Madara as a character.
