why edo tense ninja can use summon technique?

remember battle between third vs first & second hokage. When third use paper bomb on them they didn't bleed. So how edo people can use summon without blood?

Doesn't really matter how it's done in all reality. The fact remains that living sacrifices were given in order for the souls to be bound to them. Edos have all the capabilities they had while they are alive. That is what we have seen so far. So the same applies to Summoning, I think. No need for a fresh contract. This is a logical assumption. :shrug:
