I agree with your points about survival instict and contradicting represented themes in the manga..but still to me it stills seems like a possibility that could happen at this point of writing.

I do not get what you mean about "for certain religions in our world, there are certain afterlives are 100% going to happen" though. Care to elaborate or rephrase?

İt means concept of afterlife is a part of several religions in our world.
Even though it is less than likely one can proove a certain afterlife; for people who believe in said religions, the concept of afterlife is a fact. Something is as correct as he/she believes for a person.

Good point you raised. It is indeed natural to fear the unknown.But i cannot help but think and feel that the characters can just pop around any currently edo tensei hokages and just ask them.=/

This just raised another thought..technically Naruto and Sasuke can just go die..and get revived via edo tensei from a reliable guy like the 2nd Hokage. They can get their free will back from the edo tensei just by asking the 2nd to tell them the secret handsigns.

Yeah they could ask them, but plot. Also, I don't think anyone prefers being an Edo Tensei instead of being alive. Having a living corpse is nowhere near the feeling of a real body. That's just not the idea.

Error! Kakashi died and meet his dad before rinnei tensei. And What about Minato saying to Naruto "i and Jiraiya have been watching you, we know whats going on". There IS a afterlife in Naruto. And Kishi is a religious ***** and uses alot of religion in all of his stories and arcs.

It's not error, it's plot. If it were like that, why would Nagato say that since he last saw Naruto felt like an instant?
