Exactly. Sasuke hardly cares about his clan anymore. Only Itachi matters to him. He is essentially making himself the last "Itachi" so no other person in the future will have to be.

If Itachi matters to him he- Sasuke wouldn't do that (and say such things). Itachi lived and served the Shinobi World, till the end of his days.

Itachi was a loyal soldier who would serve the rest of his days under a broken system if it came to it. Sasuke has no such limitation.

Because Kages don't represent a "corrupted" system. There can only be a corrupted system, if the people who are under that system are also corrupted. Meaning your average joes.
