Why don't kishimoto's editors give him advice?

I wouldn't want to read a series where the mangaka caters to its fanbase and worries about their complaints. He/She should have the freedom to write whatever they want. I'm not sure how much of an influence the editors had on the final moments of the Naruto manga but one suggestion I would of given to Kishi was to take a month hiatus before starting the fourth ninja war and think things through. It would of turned out a lot better IMO.

Remember Tsunade used the byakugou seal to heal all the villagers from Pein's Shinra Tensei. In her condition, Tsunade wasn't fighting anyone.

You do realize, that the Chunin exams was the editor's suggestion and probably lots of other things such as Team Taka. If it weren't for Kishi's editors the manga would have been much different. Kishi needs them. His main editor left after Sasuke got MS and many people think after that and the Kage Summit the manga got worse.

O shiz I forgot about that thanks for the reminder, but who knows what Kishi would've done to alter the events in order to have a full powered Tsunade, heck knowing him he would probably have Sakura awaken Byakugo right there and have her summon Katsuyu instead letting Tsunade fight against Pein, and tbh I believe that would've been better than for Sakura to awaken it during the War and then become delirious with the whole "I'm finally equal to them" nonsense... She would be equal to them if she got it during the Pein Arc

Without Sasuke the manga would have never became as big as it did. Naruto needed a rival.

That rival shouldn't have been Sasuke. And who's to say whether the series would have been big or not if he didn't exist. Speculation on your part. Kishimoto had a concept and vision that the editors diminished for what "sells"

If you are so butthurt over a pairing than you didn't give the manga the proper respect it deserved in the first place. Pairings should be the last thing on a person's mind in a manga that is strictly concentrated on story, mystery and discovery.

When did I ever mention pairings..


Read the one shot and kishimoto's original ideas. It would have made for a better series in my opinion. Sasuke and Sakura forced a POAL and a plot line that stunted the development of many characters conceived because of it.

You say story , mystery and discovery when it lacked it. The story was strong but progressively became subpar. It had a big enough following that it rode on its fan base. The mystery was shallow and the discovery was even more shallow than that.

How original are your ideals when editors can give the final say in what happens. You can tell by the time kishimoto gained unhindered control of the series that it had already been twilighted by others.

OP does the story better
FT does the discovery better
Bleach does the mystery better.

Naruto as a whole used to be a Jack of all trades but eventually became mediocre in all aspects.

Pairings became the bastard offspring of editors and kishimoto's lack of writing romance. The only bastion of kishimoto's work was the series theme and even those dwindled over time.

His opinion of his favourite character changes at that time it was choji and killer bee and just because he barely shows them doesn't mean that character can't be his favourite
