Why dont I get any notification?

So I just asked it here, seemed a suitable section.

Now if you know the answer please tell that why dont I recieve any notification when someone Quotes me in their posts. I've tried the search button to find the solution but it didn't help. I only get a notification when someone gives a rep + but not when someone quotes me. I've checked the User CP but couldn't find a solution. So is there any option related to this or what?

They don't have it set up to do that, I don't think there's anything you can do.

It's something they haven't got enabled, seeing how many people get quoted, you would have a huge list of notifications in your inbox every time you would log in to NB.

I was asking this because I also have an account on OPB and there I get the notifications

You would have way to many notifications in my opinion but i dont see why they cant implement it.
