Now to start off with we will have to talk about Monkey D. Dragon. This may sound strange but it will all make sense at the end ;)

His name; Dragon and the fact he can control weather immediately makes me think of a Dragon Mythical Zoan fruit. There were dragons that could control the weather, most prominently known as Qinglong. The most famous Qinglong in Chinese and Japanese myths and legends was called Shenlong. Shenlong the rainbringer brought terrible storms, controlled lightning, winds and rain. Which is exactly identical to what we saw back in the Loguetown arc.

Now I also think this devil fruit is also the Uranus (Ancient Weapon). Uranus was the "father of the sky", which heavily links to weather manipulating abilities. A Devil Fruit this powerful (without him even being transformed yet!!!!!!) is clearly in a league of its own. And because there are hints that the Ancient Kingdom made the Devil Fruits. (I'll probably make another thread for this theory) I think one of their ancient weapons could have been a Devil Fruit!

Lots of people still think Dragon will have a different Devil Fruit to what I've just proposed, so further evidence (which links in with another theory about Dragon) is the following:
in Chinese Mythology there were only 4 seas. North, South, East and West. Each Sea also had an Animal to represent them. These seas are symbolized as:
North:

I'm not hinting that Dragon was a former Admiral (although this would help to surmount a gargantuan bounty). Although I hope he was a former Admiral (his father was a Marine afterall), the Dragon represents the East. And guess where dragon came from? The East Blue.

Dragon possessing the power of the Uranus will also help add to the largest bounty and most wanted man. Especially as the world government wants the power for themselves but cannot have it unless Dragon dies. This may be why Vegapunk is trying to make Dragons and Dragon Zoans a la Punk Hazard and Momonosuke's "failure" of a Devil fruit.

Momonosuke's Dragon form is similar to Shenlong in appearance and allows him to create clouds and weak lightning strikes. So he probably has a "failed" artificial Uranus. And this is why Doffy wants Momonosuke! For what purpose? We don't know yet but if I would have to guess:

- Kaidou is after Momonosuke because he has a replica of Dragons devil fruit. This explains Momonosuke and Kin'emons fear for Kaidou.

Pretty sure Doffy wants Mono because he can create clouds and Doffy uses clouds to fly.
That's way to simple... what would he even do with that other DF? It's not like he can eat 2.

Good theory though op, you make some good points. But there's always 1 issue I've had with these Dragon being a past admiral theories; wouldn't that mean there used to be 4 admirals? I believe only 3 can be.

Go back 20 years to Robins flashback and Kuzan, Sakazuki are both Vice Admirals. Borsalino also wasn't a Marine Admiral a few years back.

We know Sengoku and Zephyr were Admirals 20 years ago, and the other COULD have been Dragon

Well thought out but there are some glaring holes that make me hesitant to agree. For example, Kineomn and Momonosuke were afraid of Kaido well before Momo had his DF or his father even knew he had it, Kinemon was connected to Kaido when he was still looking for his son.

Apart from that the Code name's based on Oceans, I've covered before. All of those ocean names are code names I.E. Aokiji's real name is Kuzan and Kuzan doesn't equal blue pheasant Aokiji does. Dragon's real name is Monkey Dragon, his codename isn't shiroryuu. See the difference? It's hard for me to put it in words but Dragons name doesn't fit the pattern, instead what's happening with this theory is people are seeing the words dragon and connecting them not realizing they aren't the same category, For this to hold true Sakazuki's real name would have to be Akainu and his code name Sakazuki/Aokiji code named Kuzan/Kizaru codenamed Borsalino then maybe Dragon would fit but monky still doesn't translate to shiru it's saru so no, Dragon does not fill the East/West/South/North blue theory.

The codes were for Admirals. It was taken from another thread I made. I simply showed that a Dragon would represent the East Blue (coincidentally where Dragon came from)

I got where you were going with it but my point is, the 4 mythical animals that represent the oceans/blues, the pheasant/tiger/monkey/dragon, were the admirals codenames. For instance Aokiji was Kuzan's codename, and Aokiji is what translates to Blue Pheasant. Meaning the Admiral named ShiroRyuu would have to have a real name as ShiroRyuu would be his codename. None of the others have the animal in their real name for the codename animal like Dragon would (White Dragon = Monkey Dragon...Yellow Monkey = Borsalino). See what I'm trying to get at?

Yeah I know what you mean. But I was simply suggesting that the Admiral codenames would show where they came from. Not saying Dragon was a former Admiral, but if he was; the Dragon came from East Blue. Monkey D. Dragon (theorized Dragon Zoan user) came from East Blue.
