Why doesn't volume 64 cover make Naruhina cannon

WHy doesn't this make Naruhina Cannon.

this is how i see it showing that it is cannon
1. the cover shows that Naruto holding hinata's hand wasn't jsut to give Chakra, because he held her hand and then started to give her chakra, but even more than that the entire alliance was already powered up while tehy were already holding hands.
2. holding hands in Japan is a sign of returning feelings or acknowledging a sign of love. Hinata presented her love to Naruto way back, and this is him Acknowledging it.
3. kishi promised us one pairing, and how better to do it then to show the two characters holding hands in front of the largest threat in the manga. especailly since this is a aciton manga, where romance is barely even mentioned in the story. IMO that makes this cover pronounce this pairing more than anything else.
4. If naruto doesn't end up with Hinata and he ends up with Sasuke, what does this cover show. Yes Naruto and Sasuke would be a cool pairing. tbh it would make Sense, two brothers growing closer together to the point of love. but i just feel that after this chapter it takes away.

in other words its alot like if you ahve a boyfriend/girlfriend and he/she was out tenderly holding hands with another guy in front of a 1,000 people, in a culture where holding hands is a testamnet of love. After seeing something like that it doesn't really make any sense.

in the chapters in the volume we have teh resurection of the 10-tails, so instead of some terryifying ressurection of this massively powerful creature, we get Naruto and Hinata holding hands. In all honeslty it is really dissapointing, to sacrifice a cover just to showcase a pairing becoming cannon. but it just adds to the naruhina rep.

I think Kishi was seeing that peopel weren't beleiving that 615-617 wasn't enough to show the pairings he was like, "you know what i will make a romantic cover just to show you that it is cannon"

All of your points are very valid. Though I never really knew holding hands was such a big deal in Japan. It's next to nothing in the western world. I would say at this point it's pretty obvious.

I honestly don't care about pairing in Naruto just about yet. However, once the war is complete I will probably care. However OT, I believe it isn't cannon but makes it awfully obvious.
