Why doesn't Naruto or Bee use tailed beast ball on gedo mazo?

But he teleported the entire Kyuubi somewhere afterwards didn't he?

but i think teleporting living things is based on size, not chakra or else it wouldnt be possible to teleport people around because he would run out of chakra too fast

He could just touch the Gedo statue and then the TBB won't work
