we have seen how both madara and obito after sealing the juubi relyed on yin-yang release...it was confirmed for obito that he lost his kamui ability but not yet for madara's doujutsu abilities...so i'm thinking that it's either an inherent sacrifice when you host the juubi or that both eyes of the same pair are needed to be able to utilize the host's doujutsu which will explain why madara is hell bent on getting his eyes back...the other explanation possible is that when all ninjutsu is cancelled it also includes the ninjutsu of the host again which explains why madara wanted to absorb hashirama's senjutsu before sealing the juubi not as a means of being immune to senjutsu attacks but as a means of providing himself a loophole to use senjutsu enhanced jutsus...let's discuss guys

it was put up against juubi jin madara and hes tanking it which is to showcase how strong the juubi jin can be.

like a warm up now we get to see him go all out against naruto and sasuke using the techs with always wanted to see.

the only difference is the 8 gates has made it more believeable that naruto and sasuke can beat madara as he is weakened.

he only responds when pushed, and even tho he 'appears' battered, remember he can heal at will.

What of his former Dojutsu power?

Susano'o is weaker than Omnyoudon, it is the ultimate defense. Deva Path will absolutely get obliterated, a force too powerful will be unaffected by Deva [see Deva Pein vs. Six Tails Naruto].

He is using the Jubi's power, nothing is more powerful than that. The Madara fanboys just need to get it through their thick heads that he is going all out, it's just Gai can answer that. Of course Madara is slightly stronger as Gai's Gates don't last forever, but the difference is miniscule.

Gai is much faster, Night Elephant is near instant, and Madara's strongest defense is barely getting him through.

It's because Gai is that powerful. Susano is not as strong as onymoton so using it is pointless, Deva Path would get repelled back by Gai's pure force just like with 6 tailed Naruto, Preta Path can't absorb Gai Taijutsu, Ninjutsu like Fire style, would get pushed back by Gai evening elephant and besides Gai is too fast for that. Madara is a machoist, but he loves battle not pain that doesn't mean he isn't going all out. By your logic, he didn't go all out against Hashirama since he felt exicted in that battle like with Gai right now. Yes Madara is stronger than Gai since the 8th gate is temporary but Gai is not to be played with he is still god tier in 8th gate mode.

Shiinra Tensei is not as strong as onmyoton. And Shinra Tensei was deflected back on Pain by 6 tailed Naruto and Chibaku Tensei was destroyed by 8 tailed Kyuubi Naruto Deva Path can be overpowered it is not fail proof. No ninjutsu would work on Gai because he is too fast he can just slap back anything with the Elephant and no defense except for Onmyoton can work on that.
