[Discussion] Why doesn't Kishi just kill them?

It's kind of bothering me how Kishi is letting everyone live in this war, he's mainly killed fodder in this war. Kishi could at least kill off a few of the Kage so we can get a sense of danger in this war, Oonoki got two meteors dropped on his head and he's still doing well against Madara. A could have easily been killed this chapter as well. I wouldn't be surprised just when the Madara fight reaches its climax, Itachi ends edo tensei.

I think the whole war seems a bit messy and confusing, but maybe I should just read everything again.

i agree man, this fight been going on for almost half a year lol, i honestly think kishi doesnt know where he is going with the story so much and dragging it out till he has the ending he wants, i assume when he does figure it out people will drop like flies lol

This war is lacking emotion, I don't think I have felt upset once in this whole war. Once again maybe the anime will do a better job for emotion that is.

Manga doesn't speak but anime does so we can wait. Like the Sai and Shin in the manga wasn't sad but the anime really brought out the emotion. If the kages die then wtf what would be the point really?
