Why doesn't kishi just hire artists and release one manga a day?

You would think it wouldn't be that expensive to hire 7-8 other guys, and he could do all the rough drawings still. then you could tell a way longer and more detailed story or have an incredible fight without taking a year to do it.

Plus, I think a manga released every day would be way more popular then weekly shonens.

Because it's his story; trust me, if you ever write or do anything artistic, you wouldn't want anyone else touching your stuff either.

To a person who has created something, the first thought is usually 'if you tamper with my work in any fashion I will cut you.'

It's all about individual possession. Plus, once a week helps build suspense.

(Editors are an exception.)

dude... the guy isnt a machine :| doing one a day would take so much time before of all the detail in it... not to mention money is still an issue :| .. also if we got one a day it would have less impact on us since we wouldnt really have to wait very long

No company does this. Why? It's a stupid idea. People would rush and it wouldn't sell as good.

Um frankly. Because it's his story.

Why didn't J.K Rowling hire writers for Harry Potter so we didn't have to wait so long in between books?

Because he is THE artist. No one else has the right to take his place, Nor would he take credit for his employee's work. It is all him. That's how it should be. Plus, weekly releases gives you something to look forward to. It also would seem more financially beneficial to him

We should recommend Bakuman to OP

Are you mad bro? You try drawing 16 pages a day and explaining a detailed story to 8 people who arent thinking the way you are.

This right here is the answer I wanted to see. It would be stupid if it was released every day. It would become pointless and the story would end TOO soon. Although I WILL say, he should at least STOP taking any more breaks and just keep it consistently weekly.

Yep, this as well.

Lots of creative works are done in teams. Most TV series are not written, acted and directed by a single person. The idea that the reason is simply that kishi lacks the ability to collaborate isn't a great one.

It would be sloppy, and not Kishimoto's work anymore.

As Much as I would like that.
The Manga would be finished quickly, which i wont want.
I'd rather build up a week's Wait.
