Because Raikiri is more powerful than Rasengan. What's the point of using a weaker technique which is practically interchangable with a much stronger one?

are you joking? show me in the manga where it says that. Sasuke left the vilalge due to plot but it happened because sasuke saw how powerful the rasengan was compared to his chidori, are you saying that chidori is stronger because of naruto vs sasuke in part 1? its funny kishi even made it that naruto coudnt use his dominant hand in the fight and he used rasengan with his weak hand its like kishi was showing us that naruto was still stronger in the end...
thats funny man, show me in the manga when they compare rasengan to chidori or say its a rank

Also because Rasengan is Naruto's trademark Jutsu -Wish he had more variety though rather than just bigger versions or more deadly but like actually diff jutsu that don't just consist of Rasengan or Shadow clones.
