[Discussion] Why doesn't Bleach have emotional moments like Naruto or One Piece?

I don't want much BS drama. Both Naruto and One Piece do exaggerate and drag on their sentimental scenes. But Bleach spends so much time on useless talking, they could just cut those shit up and add a little drama for dramatic effect. Ya dig?

The only emotional scene from Bleach I can remember is Ichigo crying when Ginjo screwed up the mind of his family and friends

Cause its a very guy oriented action manga. No much room for romance and emotional moments. But I think if he really wanted Kubo could do it.

Because Kubo is not same or similar type as Kishimoto or Oda. :hint:

Instead of wasting hundreds of panels with chatter or chit chat, Kubo can put some plot twist which will evoke sentiment. And you do need talent to write emotional scenes, otherwise it will be annoying drama

I appreciate the action in Bleach, by far the best in HST

Bleach and Naruto are action manga. One Piece is adventure. OP has the best emotional scenes.

Exactly. That would make it more interesting. If you think drama is bad, then isn't useless conversation much worse?

Ichigo hates talkative people, and ironically the manga is full of them

Kubo trolls us so much yet you still think he actually has a heart to write such things? Hah.

Writing dramatic scenes are not so easy, it either becomes a masterpiece or a disaster. Kubo could think of writing a dramatic scene instead of the lame and endless conversation during battle. Is he just lazy or not talented enough? I believe it's the former

story about Ichigo's Mother was really emotional

Byakuya and Rukia's back story

Stark's Death

Unohana vs Zaraki fight was emotional .

Kubo's story are mostly through Swords fight he draws his manga in this way . People may not like it but he is one of a kind different from other Mangaka .

I don't really want it to. I am fine with the way bleach is. Naruto's "emotional" scenes piss me off now. (Jiraiya was an exception) And I thoroughly enjoy OP's. I think if they added them I would be m,ad at the waste of panel space.

Scenes that touched me emotionally:

- Gin messing with Rukia and her later acceptance of death during the execution
- Ichigo stopping the execution
- Soifon's flashback and losing to Yoruichi
- Byakuya's explanation of his two vows
- Ulquiorra's death
- Komamura & Hisagi vs. Tousen and Tousen's death
- Gin's death
- Yamamoto & Sasakibe's flashback
- Unohana's death
- Katagiri scenes during Isshin & Masaki's flashback
- Komamura turning into an animal
- Zangetsu=Yhwach reveal
- Auswahlen

Quite a lot of emotional moments, if you ask me.

Most of them were thriller rather than emotional imo

You are forgetting the theme of the Manga Kubo focuses more on character he said it several times . His characters are more important than the plot , Bleach unlike Naruto and One piece is known mostly for Sword Fighting. The Emotions are mostly seen in the Zanpaktou blade crossing each other.

You must have noticed after Aizen Sealing ,Ichigo was able to feel sadness when he felt Aizen's Zanpaktou . This is were the impact is felt he is more into fights rather than make Emotional stories . I agree with you he could do that but he chose this theme of work which is risky and Challenging.

Kubo is one of a kind he is different from other Mangaka people are not ready to accept his style of the way he does with his Manga .
But i believe he is different .
