Why doesn’t Gai get Tsunade or Katasuke heal him or get robotic parts?

I am surprised that Gai doesn’t get Tsunade and Katasuke to heal him or give him robotic implants like Ao. I really can’t see Gai being happy being in a wheel chair.

Gai is the first 8 Gate user to ever survive, I wonder if Gai can find a way to improve it maybe find a way to not kill the user.

There are also Orochimaru, Sakura and Kabuto who can help.
