Why does tobi want's to touch naruto?

Can some one explain to me why tobi is so determined to touch naruto?
Few chapters ago before guy and kakashi arrived he wanted to touch naruto,
and in today's chapter he wants to just lay hands on naruto, why not punch him:shrug:?
