[Discussion] Why does this happen?

So whenever I am at work I noticed that time moves really slow. Like really really slow.
If I look at my phone the time would say 10:00am and if I look at my phone again lets say after a few minutes, my phone time would say 10:20am.

Now however when I am at home, the time would say 5:30pm and when I check the time after a few minutes the time would say 18:45pm.

How the hell is this possible??? Why does time move so slow at work but so fast at home?

Maybe its because you pay more attention to the time when you're at work.

I remember working at construction business, so we start working at 7 am - and my time pass so fast until 14pm or something , and i tell myself , cool, only 3-4 hours left until its done, but that 3-4 hours is taking a life time.

Maybe the time is moving slowly in the noon lol - who knows

You are not enjoying what you do, neither it requires your full immersion.

The beauty of this world. When you do something meaningful time will move slowly so you can do the job better, appreciate the job and enjoy it but when you're not doing something useful or meaningful, you just wasting your time watching TV or playing Pokemon Go on your smartphone time will move very fast. My advice always filled your everyday life with something useful so time will appreciate you.

Because if you are busy, time will fly feel like flying faster. I work for police and work 24 hour shifts, time can drag very long during shift, but if there is a lot of stuff to do, inspect situations, write reports, speaking with people, shift feels like it passed quickly. If I am having good time, hanging out with friends, gaming, reading or watching something fun, it will feel, that time passed quickly.

Cus Time is a God and you have to worship it, if you don't it punishes you.
