[Discussion] Why does this forum hate vs threads?

I was gone 30 minutes and the threads gone but so many other dumb threads get left alone. Who cares if they lead to arguing that's the point of them. This forum's trying to become a daycare more than a forum.

DaBest if you stumble on this(before it's deleted as I'm sure it will be) I didn't see anything you put in response from after I said Classic Strange wasn't an Avenger just fyi.

It is nothing but hypotheticals like "what if". No one really debates. Also, the scale of power is outrages, it is a pointless matchup.

I didn't actually make it I was just in it and came home to check the responses and couldn't find it.

All true but I'm asking why, if that's what the people are interested in discussing in a sub section of a forum why actively try and deny them that? It doesn't hurt the forum if anything it helps visitor numbers, the ones reading/participating have chosen to do so. I just don't see any valid justification for preventing them is all. Not saying the site needs to change or I hate it or anthing just curious behind the reasoning.

If it is a person from NV vs another universe, people dont want to do that. thats what other forums are for. If its NV vs NV, chances are it boils down to "Durr, adult naruto VS adult sasuke VS madara"

There has to be rules man. Whether they are big or small. Unfortunately more and more rules get applied every year because you have people who can't control themselves online. This is registered as a "family friendly" site (even though i really don't think it is anymore given the age of most of the base) so the admins need to make sure people listen or else they will lose control of their site. But in all fairness to the creators of the site they do have links for everyone to look at to view to the rules so it really comes down to personal responsibility to read the rules about the forum.

Yes, that particular thread-maker had a multitude of threads moved to the appropriate sections.​
