Why does Sarada need glasses? Is there more on then what we assume?

So we troll alot on Sarada (myself included) and usually her fans or rather Sakura fans go on the defense that Sarada's glasses are a seal of some sort or whatever.

Of course that doesn't make sense since she take off her glasses likely when bathing and sleeping and Konoha doesn't explode when that does happen...


BUT


Sarada's eyes are visually impaired for some odd reason which maybe is the first ever occurrence for an Uchiha in history.

Uchiha's throughout the generations have never worn glasses.

Did Kishi do it for a specific purpose, is it because she is the first mixed Uchiha child since Indra married someone?

I don't know? Maybe some new Dojutsu stuff seeing as that is the craze right now.

Yeah, he definitely wanted to troll, but there's probably more to look into it.

Sarada's name was inspired on the hindu goddess Saraswati (a.k.a. Sarada) - she's the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Kishi said that the glasses were meant to give Sarada a intellectual/booksmart look, so it kinda makes sense.

Yeah, Sarada had the Haruno crest on Kishi's initial sketches. But in the final versions he removed it and used the Uchiha one.

I believe that both Boruto and Sarada, have inherited their father's SO6P chakra that is having some effects on them. Also, I believe kishi tries to deflect fans from certain theories so it has a bigger impact on fans when it happens. Team konohamaru is going be a team of special ninja.

lol many people wear glasses for fashion purposes. There's also many people who don't have any eye condition, but they wear glasses to avoid eye fatigue.

I guess but the norm when you met someone with glasses is that they have some form of bad eyesight

not fashion or anything

but then again right when Sarada was born Karin provided her with Glasses so who knows (especially since Kishi just gave it to her to look smart)

Lol i know a lot of people who have glasses but don't need em. And some that just wear em because other's have em.
