Anyway, Sasuke and Sakura spent a short while in village together where took long walks where they talked for hours almost every day and it was in within those dialogues they established an understanding/forgiveness of their past. Shortly after that they spent YEARS together traveling which is when the intamacey was based and Sarada was made, they even returned to the village together after she was born...

Kishi emphasized this "connection" Sasuke and Sakura had but he never describes them in the way he does NH for The Last where he says repeatedly that they're IN love or meant to be and how close their LOVE story is to himself and his wife's.

Sasuke said it himself pretty clearly in Gaiden: He and Sakura are connected because Salad exists. Therefore, if she hadn’t been born, he wouldn’t have anything to do with her. They are connected by the child, not their own love. :lol

Also notice how Sakura never tells Salad anything about her relationship with her father while when Hinata tells her and Naruto’s story, Boltsays “I’ve already heard it 100 times!” You’d think Sakura of all people would jump at any chance to tell that story and when we see Salad as a toddler asking Sakura about Sasuke, its been established that he wasn’t on a secret mission (not that it would’ve done any harm anyway) so what’s her excuse?:tea: Oh hey, that's right, she knows jack squat about Sasuke!
