Why Does Sakura Love Sasuke?

Terrible writing. I think it's no use analyzing things here. Obviously Kishi shipped them for $$$$. Sasusaku makes no sense but money, so why not?

yep...funny thing is sakura is a main character...that's what makes it so sad

it's almost as bad as how hiro mashima ruined Erza's mom

Sakura doesn't really love Sasuke as a person. She hasn't spent time with Sasuke, they were only together because they were on a team, rather than either of them actually spending time together because they liked each other.

From what I understand, Sakura never took time out to actually try to get know who Sasuke is as a person. I'm not even extending this to his own personal problems, but just trying to go on friendly dates with Sasuke to become his friend.

Anyway there are two instances when Sakura tries to express her love to Sasuke:

> One before Sasuke leaves Konohagakure
> One before Sasuke decides to fight Naruto

Both times, Sakura has stated she is willing to do anything Sasuke, and that everything would be okay if she stays by his side. She's quite delusional with her affection, stating that the only thing that matters is if Sasuke spends time with her, as if she's his saving grace for every solution.

Instead of throwing shade here you should blame the author and not the fictional character. Sakura's character is as good as kishi's writing.

Characters have a Meta and in-universe POV.

Hinata is bad from a meta POV, but in-universe, she's fine as a person.

Madara's the opposite. He's a good character, but a bad person.

Sakura is trash either way you look at it.

Was there ever a reason given as to why Sakura as a character was ever attracted to Sasuke?
and what's Sasuke reason for loving Sakura back?

Sakura loved him because he saw potential in him of becoming one of the greatest shinobi to ever live and I guess sasuke loved her because she was one of the few people that didn't give up on him

Did Kishimoto drink Sake bfore the interview? He wrote her story and plot and then he produce that kind of thought or his editor did the job for him and he just approved it without double checking or Kishi talking in 'narrative' way

Kishimoto wanted to throw Sakura in the shredder 2 years into the series and replace her with Hinata, but for whatever reason, decided to, and I quote "persevere" with Sakura's character.

Manga makes it pretty simple and obvious, which becomes more clear once you realize kishi is over obsessed and simplicity with parallels that plagues this manga. Anyway, Sakura had lust over sasuke's edgy personality much like naruto had grudge for the same reason. her lust turned into love(bonded would be a better choice of words) once she got to see sasuke when he was vulnerable during the encounter with orochimaru, then reinforced her love (or rather gave her love a reason) when she realize sasuke's cs1 corrupted him which drove her to want to save him from his darkness. kinda like how naruto despite previously wanting to bring sasuke back to the village, it wasn't until sasuke opened up and call him "his friend" that gave naruto his own true bond/motive. The creepy part honestly, is that sakura said she wanted to join sasuke as a rogue, kinda wish kishi kept with that idea, cause it reminds when hinata said she didn't care if she was selfish, all she wanted to do was be with naruto. it shows that love is irrational, it doesn't care about right or wrong.

Sasuke loving Sakura? Well during the fight with Gaara (Chunnin Exams) Sasuke did say that he considered Sakura a precious comrade. So it's not like he loathed her. And face it. She's always tried to be there for him. She freaking jumped in front of Gaara when he was in Shukaku form for crying out loud!! Aaand when Sasuke almost killed the sound ninja (Zaku) working for Oro in the Forest Of Death. Everyone else was scared out of their wits and Sakura was the only one who had the guts to stop him.

Sakura loving Sasuke? No idea. Maybe when she figured that she still liked him even with his insane revenge tendencies and was desperate to get him out of the darkness?
