Every time I see a thread about who would win in a fight and one of the opponents happens to be a ninja like Minato someone always says "all he has to do is teleport and wait then come back later".

I mean yeah technically you win but did you really win? Meaning did you prove who was the better fighter? It is smart to run away if you can't beat the opponent so you come back later but does it mean you are better?

For example Minato vs. Gai. Someone will always say all Minato has to do is wait for Gai to go 8 Gates then teleport away and wait for him to die. But does that mean Minato > Gai ? No because Minato didn't beat Gai time beat Gai. Minato is just smart for not staying.

What do yoy guys think? Btw this is not hate or bashing just something I noticed.

If I beat you by luring you into lava and watching instead of fisticuffs, does that mean I didn't win?

Brains vs Brawn

and brains counts into your "power"

if deidara suicide bombed me and i left the fight, does that count as a lost? i men one person is alive and the other dead. aka a battle to the death. if my retreat leads to your death(or only your death) then i win because you are unable to kill me. if it doesnt result in you dieing then i lose

thats the way i see it

There's a difference between getting distance & fleeing from a battle, which is a loss.

& There is such a thing as a loss through battlefield removal [ ].
