why does people think that naruto won't die

from the start i've always felt that naruto would die at the end of the story for some reason ,but everytime i tell people this they're always like: no way ,it can't happen , it's impossible ,so that's my question, why why it can't happen ? i know you may say that he has to become hokage ,cuz that's the point of the story but that was before that naruto knew his true goal which is to make peace so this goal is much more important than to become hokage ,it's his reason to exist like minato said.

Agreed, poeple can say whatever they want and have there own opinions. for example, I don't think naruto will die, why? Naruto is the main character of the show in general, the main character never dies. Plus if he does die, thats ok too, because as long as he died protecting what he loves most, then he died a great man.

well its simple here on naruto base there is always someone who thinks something different no matter what it is. if you say narutos name is naruto around here there is at least on person who will say no its not hahah joking but you get this idea you cant let everything bug you

He'll probably die imo. Maybe he will become Hokage first, or the Kage of the new United Shinobi Nation and then die protecting the peace that he restored. Probably along with Sasuke - imo that was our biggest clue - when he said to Sasuke that when they fight they will both die. And I will cry my eyes out when it happens, but still love the anime even more for it.

Because then the little fanboys will go rage mode on Kishimoto because they want the same crap every single Manga, Main Character becomes the strongest and the villians die, same bullcrap again. I'd prefer Naruto dying would be a really big twist and something apart, not the old Main Character always wins thing, not to mention it would shut the Plot no Jutsu coming from peoples mouth up.

I think as long as Naruto 'saves' Sasuke and defeats Tobi (after the last few chapters that came out I stopped calling him Madara) then i think if Naruto dies it would actually be a fitting ending even though most of us will cry our eyes out because of how awesome he is...
