[Spoilers] Why does Orochimaru want Sasuke's body?

He needs Sasuke's body to become closer to the so6p's power. Just having sharingan eyes isn't enough, you need Uchiha chakra to control them properly.

If he saw everything what happened from within Anko, then he should know that being revived with Edo Tensei provides a better and inmortal body than just taking Sasuke's body. Then why doesn't he just die and get someone else to revive him with Edo?

Several reasons: First, you have to trust a person a heck of a lot to just die and trust that they bring you back. Pain was supposed to use his Rinne Tensei abilities on Madara, but that clearly never happened. Pain was also supposed to use Rinne Tensei for Tobi in some way. We don't know if that's the same or if it was for a different purpose.

Also, Edo Tensei comes with some limitations. As we saw, of the zombies brought back to life, all of them except for Madara were released. That's pretty dangerous to consider that one person can instantly release you and then you're dead again. That's a big weakness.

Also, Edo Tensei zombies are under mind control to varying degrees. Why would Orochimaru want to be turned into a zombie under somebody else's control? Orochimaru is the leader, not a puppet.

The whole idea is a bad idea. Orochimaru wouldn't want that because he's not stupid.
