So it's just because of love?! He wants to erase reality and put a new one in its place because of love? He doesn't care at all about the way his world works?! Is that what you really think?

People blatantly, moronically, and barbarically have taken their/others own lives in attempt to free some void in their feeble hearts because of love. Why can't you comprehend to which Obito would do the same? He is a psychopath, he's been manipulated from the age of 13, and has multiple persona's.. Obito is no psychopath. He is a cold blooded killer yes, but not a man who is standing at the edge of sanity. I believe the word that applies here is sociopath. If he was insane, he would not have controlled some of the strongest and worst people in history successfully(Akatsuki), masterminded and brought his plan to fruition(resurrection of the Juubi, although incomplete), manipulated the Five Great Nations into a war and fooled his fellow Akatsuki teammates with those "multiple personalities" you speak of. Everything he did had a purpose, much like Itachi. This is not a man who cares for things like love. He is a ruthless calculating genius who has a much higher purpose in mind. And you sir, do not get it.

Obito wants to create an ideal world where noone has to suffer.Rin death shook him and made him believe that this world,this reality is not worth living.He didn't kill Kakashi cause he a was a part of a world Obito no longer cared about.I believe that Obito wants to make a dream world because he was never able to cope with Rins death and the pain of the loss overtook his life.He needs another reality to feel complete cause in this world his pain suffocates him.In his mind a world without pain will be better for everyone.Its not only about Rins death its about making a better world.

I still think he is pretending to go along with Madara's plan and yes, he turned on everyone because of what Kakashi did at first, but I still feel there's more to it. He's got his own agenda and Rin is just part of the reason.

That's what I think.

I don't think Madara is planning to go along with his own plan, but Obito sure as hell is. That's why he wanted to start preparations for Mugen Tsukuyomi right away.
