why would naruto need to learn other techniques if shadow clone, rasengan, and summoning are a-rank, rasenshuriken, other forms of rasengan and the modes are s-rank and beyond? if he learns some wind jutsu, it won't do much apart from appearing cool, when he has far superior weapons.

also, it's not as if naruto has lots of time on his hands to train, he has missions and wars to deal with. i'd have liked him to learn some new jutsu during the timeskip, but he learned little, what can we do.
