Differences is Goku's friends will be alive while Naruto would have to kill other people to bring back the ones he care for and they would be zombies so no it's not even close to being the same. I'm pretty sure Goku cried or was close to it when King Piccolo killed Shenron, Krillin, Master Roshi, Chostu (sp?). Oh and Goku alwaysssssssss showed forgiveness or sympathy for his enemies who killed people up to Frieza because Vegeta even told Goku to not try to be forgiven or try to talk Frieza out of it because it wouldn't work and he killed both of their fathers and their entire race.

In DBZ, Goku is older than Naruto currently is so I used DB Goku where I'm sure he did cry when his friends died.
