[Discussion] Why does Madara want to come back alive now?

Yes he wants to be the jinchuuriki of the 10 tails. However, in edo tensei mode (which no one is controlling) he has unlimited chakra and can't die.

Shouldn't he use the edo tensei advantage to actually go full power and try and get 9 & 8 tails instead of sitting down?

I can't see the logic in turning into jinchuuriki now anyway. What do you guys think?

I seriously don't see him becoming the Juubi's jin any time soon. I mean, he's faced with an army that includes two of the strongest tailed beast Jinchurikis, an EMS user, & four un-dead Hokages. Those people won't just sit around and let him do what he wants to do

He wants to be a host because he wants to cast the tsukuyomi and without a physical body, I don't think it is possible to control the juubi to cast the jutsu.

i mention this in a thread too.. i dont understand. he can die now unless with all this chakra he can die. i mean he can really get hurt..heal heal right away. like naruto does with the 9 tail. but i dont understand.

There's no point in obtaining the 8 & 9 tails since the Juubi has already been fully revived.

The only thing left for him to do is carry out the Tsuki no Me plan, and for him to do that, he has to be alive.

I don't think he has much of a choice. Obito is using rinne Tensei from the looks of it.

WHat else could he exactly have up his sleeve? Hashirama was able to take him + Kurama on by himself. Now Madara MAY have Rennigan and Wood style, but that's meaningless when Hashirma has Naruto, Sasuke, Minato, Tobirama, Hiruzen & a whole army by his side.And sooner or later, Orochimaru & the 5 kages will show up. Not to mention people like Lee & Darui.
