Why does Madara mostly use Hashirama's techniques?

Because the only way to show what hashi was capable of is through Madara using his techniques. I think kishi made a mistake by having him sealed by RDS to be honest. But he may come back through other means e.g. Yamato....maybe

Obvioulsy Madara doesnt have as powerful of an arsenal that hashirama possessed. Madara techniques are ok, but they arnt anything spectacular (except Perfect Susanoo). Hashirama on the other hand butt raped Madara. And disposed of Kyuubi while dealing with perfect susanoo.. Without Mokuton, Madara would not be as OP as he is now.

He wouldnt have:

Mokuton Clones (or army of susanoo clones)
Mokuton (tree world)
Flowering Tree world
Wood Dragon (to deal with kyuubi)
Or ability to phase thru trees.

:rofl: The kages litterally gave up when he started using his techs again. They were hardly complaining when tress were coming at their faces. This thread is a desperate attempt at making Madara look bad.

This says it best. The kages were still full of energy and had the determination to not give up even when madara was the wood style jutsus at them, but right when he used his trongest tech. Ps all the kages started to lose hope except onooki. Then when edo tensei ended and it looked like madara would go away forever they were like :ghehe: we dodged a bullet there. But then they were like O.O when he stayed.

Also the reason why he is using the wood jutsu is probably because he doesn't want to kill naruto, his jutsus happened to be on a level that is able to re design landscapes in with one slash.

You have to think of this way.

When a kid gets a new toy, they usually ignore the older toys for the meantime and spend A LOT of time with the new one.
Same goes for Madara, he's just toying with them so he wants to play with them the right way haha.
That, and the dragon wood is what restricted the Kyuubi from further helping Madara so he's bound to use something similar in restraining Kurama.

That, or he deeply misses Hashirama since he was his only best friend :C lol

It's good that they're showing Hashirama's powers though, imagine the real Hashirama unleashing those with his many other jutsus
