that should have been his plan all along to come back to life. i mean anyone and their brother could do edo tensei. the rinnegan part is such a hassle and completely dumb if you could become immortal through ET..

I agree that the edo route is probably better, however, being an edo may come with limitations we don't know about yet. Also, everyone cannot perform edo tensei. That's why only Tobirama, Orochimaru, and Kabuto have ever been shown to do it. If it was so easy, Tobi would've done it himself rather than relying on Kabuto.

like orochimaru could have revived any dead uchiha, took over his body and released his et or some wild tihs like that. and bam...uchiha powers, undying body, unlimited chakra..etc..

I agree that the edo route is probably better, however, being an edo may come with limitations we don't know about yet. Also, everyone cannot perform edo tensei. I'm sure Kishi will reveal some limitations in the next few chapters, though, to perhaps shed some light on these things. And hopefully not confuse many of us like he did with that Izanami/Izanagi bull
