Why Does Kishi Hate Sakura So Much?

I mean really, I don't care for her but wow... This guy really didn't like his main female protagonist. He could've developed her well at least and neglect everyone else. But nah he decided to take a horrible route.

I get he doesn't care for females but seriously? LoL all his female characters suck except for Konan and Kushina. I guess Tsunade is decent too

Kishi did care for Hinata though and give her to the best wedding with Naruto. Kishi made Sakura as a mistake and he regretted it later since he had already published the first chapter.

Now that i joined NarutoBase i see how much hate sakura gets O___O wow guys

He could never find room to give her proper development while also letting her be a damsel in distress. He liked to make her a DiD once per arc or so (a pretty cliché way of making his male protagonist look more heroic to young boys), and he really only utilized Sakura for those occasions. The result was that we were left with this incompetent, unrelatable girl who we had no investment in seeing rescued, so the whole thing was this cringe-worthy waste. It dragged Naruto down, since he maintained an inexplicable crush on Sakura (even while her own feelings towards Sasuke weren't really developed within the main plot).

Basically, Kishi never set aside the time to develop Sakura. On a chapter-to-chapter basis, fans always wanted more focus on other characters, so he never took the risk to make her a better character by spending time on her. This created a vicious cycle where it became harder and harder to incorporate her; eventually every Sakura panel seemed to do more harm than good.

She punched a God.
Her parents are alive.
Has the most cutest level-headed daughter.
She's friends with everybody, even her love rivals like her.
Doesn't even need to call the Hokage by his title, nor does she even need to acknowledge his presence.

Still just because he made a mistake doesn't mean you totally neglect the character. Especially when its the female lead. He could have corrected his problems with her and gave her more character development.

I like sakura but agree she could have had a ton more character devolpment. Thats on kishi, don't call him out on most but i will on this.
