Why did the japenese make Naruto a long running series, they waste too much time repeating flashbacks over and over again and the characters talk too much.

If you don't like fillers don't watch them and just read the manga.

And they made it like that because that's how television shows are in Japan, which is good news for the animators. In the United States your television show might last a year or two before it disappears- which means you're out of a job every few years and have to transition to something else. I'm glad most people enjoy the long-running Japanese series because viewers lose nothing and employees hold their jobs longer <3
